May 4th the group will study the abstracted landscape style of Marie Louise Eriksen. We will learn the unique and successful style of expressing the feeling versus replicating the image! Hands on practice will follow the formal presentation and demonstration. There will be artist's own fun "warm up" practice! We will apply her phenomenal abstract style to our own photographs or to photos provided. You can also opt to copy the art under study for your educational experience. Although mostly acrylic paints are recommended students will be encouraged to explore multimedia options for their own expressions. Some unique artists materials may be provded to share at no cost.  The Instructor will send out the information about an artist under study,  prior, so everyone can prepare and think about the images in advance.

Marie Eriksen"s style and philosophy will be studied in order to search for your own individual style of expression.
