ALL MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED!
Artworks often lack in colour expression due to too much, or too strong, colours used. The best works of art are created by strategically placed neutral greys beside, and around, the intense colour accents! Harmonious colour mixes are best obtained by using selected few triads of primary or secondary colours of Red-Blue-Yellow or Green- Purple-Orange. You will learn how to design the best triad for your project and how to mix rainbow of colours from your primary choices.
We will use only three carefully selected primary colours, and white, in this workshop!
Neutral grey refers to colour created when mixing complementary colours; that is colours opposite to each other on the colour wheel. You will learn how to create the “mother neutral grey” from three primaries and then use varied values to diffuse or adjust your colour mixes.
Precedent studies: BC coast, trees, and mountains.
